We are looking for a BI Developer to uncover valuable insights from telematics data. You will translate big data into actionable insights and clear messages. By doing so, you will help customers make the right decisions and impact the development of mobility solutions.

Toyota Connected Europe (TCEU) wants to create a better world through connected mobility for all. We are a new company created to bring big data into all aspects of mobility so everyone’s experience is more personal, convenient, fun and safe. We create and enable technologies to tackle mobility challenges.

What you will do:

Working as a BI Developer, you will get to work on some exciting stuff, you'll be exposed to a variety of data and we'll need someone who can connect to databases, utilise tech tooling and execute the visualisation. You will:

• Extract, analyse and transform data into actionable insights.
• Be a data analytics guru – you will support more junior team members from a technical standpoint, advising on the choice of data, KPIs and methods and review the outputs.
• Define, implement and continuously improve good practices, processes and choice of tooling for analytics.
• Design reusable data models, creating new aggregated tables by pulling data from various sources.
• Be a champion for the role of data analysis and visualisation in offering value to TCEU’s clients.

What will you need to be an expert in (these are the non-negotiables)?

• Building reports and dashboards, specifically Power BI.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with very large and complex datasets.
• Experience in working with cloud data (AWS - S3, Athena).

• Strong knowledge of analytics tools and practices.
• Python coding skills.
• Passion about understanding the content of data and communicating data-driven insights.
• Create and maintain documentation for technology solutions and data pipelines to ensure robustness and auditability.
